Shipping & Delivery Methods:

IMPORTANT: If for any reason the delivery date of your order is crucial please contact us, otherwise read below:

Orders $500.00 and up may require a signature upon delivery.  If you have questions regarding this, please contact us prior to placing your order.

AVAILABILITY

In an effort to better serve our customers, we stock as much product as possible. In some cases product must be sourced prior to shipment either by bringing it in to our location, or setting it up for drop shipment.

In the event that we are unable to ship your order within 2 business days of it being printed (orders are printed at 10:30AM PST (PDT) and days begin counting after the day printed), you will be notified via email. Please be aware that transit times may change due to product availability. If for any reason we are unable to source the part you ordered, you will be notified of any possible substitutions, or we will offer to provide a full refund.

If the time frame in which you need to obtain the product is very important to you, please contact us prior to placing your order, so that we may ensure it is in stock for you.

Items may take a few days to process before shipment, please call us at 626-513-4777 if you need to ensure your order goes out the same day.

NOTICE: The terms and conditions for each company we use to ship apply to their respective methods. For example, the terms for FedEx Priority Overnight apply as they do from FedEx.

AVAILABLE SHIPPING OPTIONS

Will Call Orders

  • For those customers in the Los Angeles/San Bernardino California area, we offer will call pick up. Please contact our sales department 626-513-4777 to place your order for will call.

USPS Priority

  • Typically 2 to 3 business days to most locations in the US (begin counting after it ships) This is not a guaranteed service.
  • Tracking status is available on http://www.usps.com/ Please be aware that although the USPS is sometimes a less expensive method of shipping, we have experienced some problems with shipments (lost, damaged, etc.).
  • USPS does not guarantee delivery time nor does it always provide tracking.
  • Please keep in mind that if you choose the USPS as your method of shipping, American RV Company will not be able to refund, reimburse, or resend packages that are lost or damaged.
  • We suggest our regular FedEx shipping options when at all possible in order to ensure recourse for lost or damaged packages.

USPS Parcel

  • Typically 2 - 9 business days in the 48 contiguous states for most destinations. This method does not have tracking status available. (USPS does NOT guarantee delivery of Parcel Mail.).
  • Please be aware that although the USPS is sometimes a less expensive method of shipping, we have experienced some problems with shipments (lost, damaged, etc.).
  • USPS does not guarantee delivery time nor does it provide tracking.
  • Please keep in mind that if you choose the USPS Parcel as your method of shipping, American RV Company will not be able to refund, reimburse, or resend packages that are lost or damaged. We suggest our regular FedEx shipping options when at all possible in order to ensure recourse for lost or damaged packages.

UPS Innovations

  • Estimated 6-12 business days (including processing).
  • Certain packages less than one pound qualify for UPS Mail Innovations services. These packages cannot be insured. (The final delivery is through the U.S. postal service; please make sure your shipping address is a deliverable address by USPS).
  • Those packages are picked up from our warehouse by UPS and scanned into the UPS tracking system.
  • These packages are frequently transported to UPS regional Mail Innovations Facilities where the package is transferred to the destination United States Post Office for delivery.
  • All orders are subject to a 1-2 business day processing time prior to shipping.
  • Please allow 4-10 business days to receive your package excluding major holidays.
  • This shipping method is not available for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, APO/FPO or international shipping destinations.
  • Once your item is shipped the destination may not be changed.
  • UPS Mail Innovations requires up to 48 hours after the order has been shipped before the tracking number provided is functional.
  • Tracking is available on http://www.ups.com/ and http://www.usps.com/.

FedEx SmartPost®

  • Estimated 5-10 business days of transit time.
  • Certain packages between 1-9 pounds qualify for FedEx SmartPost®.
  • These packages cannot be insured. (The final delivery is through the postal service; please make sure your shipping address is a deliverable address by USPS)
  • Those packages are picked up from our warehouse by FedEx and scanned into the FedEx tracking system.
  • These packages are frequently transported to FedEx regional Facilities where the package is transferred to the destination United States Post Office for delivery. All orders are subject to a 1-2 business day processing time prior to shipping. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your package excluding major holidays. FedEx Home Delivery®

  • Our primary shipping method is FedEx Home Delivery.
  • FedEx will deliver on Tuesdays to Saturdays.
  • FedEx is the most reliable method and we strongly encourage our customers to ship via FedEx.
  • Street addresses are required for FedEx shipments (no P.O. Box. (with the exception of FedEx SmartPost above).
  • Shipping and handling charges will be added to product cost at the time of check out.
  • Please note that our terms for FedEx Home Delivery are the same as those found and used by www.FedEx.com
  • If one or more items are not available for shipment within two business days, you will be notified via email and asked to accept a new estimated ship date. FedEx Home Delivery is not a guaranteed service, meaning that the time in transit is not guaranteed.
  • Transit times may vary for International shipments; the taxes, duties, and brokers fees for international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the monies paid to American RV Company.
  • RV Park Residents, FedEx requires your Space Number and Park Name for delivery. Please provide this information in the Suite/Apt # field on your order's Shipping Address. You will be responsible for any address correction charges if this information is not provided.

Ground

Residential

  • Our primary shipping method is UPS/FedEx Ground.
  • 1–5 business days within the contiguous U.S.; (UPS/FedEx)
  • 3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii. (FedEx)
  • Do Not Use P.O. Boxes on orders you want shipped UPS Ground/Fed Ex Ground.
  • If you need to use a P.O. Box, please choose USPS (United States Postal Service), FedEx SmartPost or UPS Innovations as the shipping method for your order, if available.
  • UPS/FedEx will only accept shipments to a valid street address. UPS/FedEx will not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
  • If you use a P.O. Box, your telephone number must be included with your order.
  • Your package that is addressed to a P.O. Box will be delayed, will not be covered by any UPS/FedEx Service Guarantee, and will require an address correction charge of $15.00.
  • If your P.O. Box is in a different zip code than your street address, there will be even more charges.
  • Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses are not accepted.
  • Shipping and handling charges will be added to product cost at the time of check out.
  • Please note that our terms for FedEx shipping are the same as those found and used by http://www.fedex.com/ and http://www.ups.com.
  • If one or more items are not available for shipment within two business days, you will be notified via email and asked to accept a new estimated ship date.

Business

  • Day-definite delivery in 1–5 business days (3–7 business days to and from Alaska and Hawaii) based on distance to destination.
  • Delivery by end of business day.
  • Available to every business address in all 50 states (inbound-only service ) for certain remote locations in Alaska and Hawaii).
  • Fed Ex Ground to Business will require a signature.

Free Shipping

  • Free shipping is available on select items on our site.
  • Our free shipping option is for Continental U.S. only, excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands.
  • For items with free shipping, we use many different methods for shipping.
  • If for any reason you cannot accept a particular method of shipment, please let us know.
  • If your shipment is returned to us un-deliverable as addressed, you will be given the option to pay for the re-shipment or allow us to process a return per our regular return policy below.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS

Transit times may vary for International shipments; the taxes, duties, and brokers fees for international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the monies paid to American RV Company. Shipping cost is not covered for international warranty claims.

Canada shipments

  • Transit times may vary for International shipments; the taxes, duties, and brokers fees for international shipments are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the monies paid to American RV Company.

USPS Global International

  • Transit times vary depending on country
  • We are here to help assist in any lost or damaged items, please allow ample time depending on country for solution.

FedEx International Economy

  • Transit times vary depending on country.
  • We are here to help assist in any lost or damaged items, please allow ample time depending on country for solution.

PACKAGE INSURANCE

FedEx Shipping Insurance

  • FedEx recommends that you purchase carrier insurance for any order that exceeds $200.00.
  • American RV Company cannot be held liable for any damage or lost items if carrier insurance is not purchased at time of check out.

EXPEDITED SHIPMENTS

FedEx Expedited Order

  • FedEx Guarantees the designated transit time for expedited shipping, but keep in mind there maybe situations out of our control that may delay your package. In the rare case that your package is delayed please contact us and we will figure out the best possible solution.

Please note that late shipments due to Severe Weather¯ are not covered under the FedEx guarantee and are not eligible for refund.

If you plan on expediting your order, please see our Availability Section¯ for important information.

  • AK and HI orders excluded.
  • Please note that expedited shipping is based on business days only and do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or FedEx specified holidays.
  • For expedited shipments to go out the same day the cut-off time is 10:30 AM PST (PDT). If you place your order after 10:30 AM PST (PDT) and your order needs to go out same day, please call us at 626-513-4777
  • FedEx transit time begins counting the day after the item is shipped.
  • Orders placed on Fridays after 10:30 AM PST (PDT) will go out on the following Monday.
  • Expedited shipment going to a business will require a signature.
  • Examples of expedited shipments on Fridays below;
    • FedEx Priority Overnight - orders that go out on Friday should arrive on the following Monday which is the next business day, not on Saturday. (if you require Saturday delivery, there is an additional fee, please contact us for further information)
    • FedEx 2Day - orders that go out on Friday should arrive that following Tuesday which is the second business day.
    • FedEx Express Saver (3 Day) - orders that go out on Friday should arrive on that Wednesday.
    • UPS Next Day Air - orders that go out on Friday should arrive on the following Monday which is the next business day, not on Saturday. (if you require Saturday delivery, there is an additional fee, please contact us for further information)
    • UPS 2nd Day Air - orders that go out on Friday should arrive that following Tuesday which is the second business day.
    • UPS 3 Day Select - orders that go out on Friday should arrive on that Wednesday.

LTL Freight shipment (Refrigerator, Air Conditioners and Generators etc.)

LTL Tracking

  • Estimated 1-7 business days of transit time.
  • For residential delivery please allow additional time for freight terminal to contact you to set up a delivery appointment.
  • Once your order ships American RV Company will email you the shipping freight company used along with their Pro number (tracking number).
  • Please take note that our system is not equipped to link to certain freight companyā€™s websites for traceability, so we ask that you copy the pro number and go to their direct website for delivery status.

  • Residential Shipping Option (Freight Items) - All items shipping freight will have a shipping charge (Commercial or Residential). There is no additional fee to deliver to a commercial address. However, shipping freight to residential addresses will incur an additional fee. The freight companies charge for delivering to a residential location in addition to the shipping cost
  • Commercial (Freight Items) - All items shipping freight will have a shipping charge (Commercial or Residential). There is no additional fee to deliver to a commercial address. Churches, Schools, Universities, Farms and bases are not considered Commercial and additional fees often apply. Please contact us for these fees. Commercial addresses that have living properties on site are considered residential per freight companies.
  • Lift Gate Service Option (Freight Items) - The lift gate service is offered by the freight company to assist with the offloading of your merchandise at delivery without the use of a forklift. The standard freight tractor-trailer trucks do not have lift gates, so your order will be transferred to a smaller truck with a lift gate. This service insures your order is placed at ground level upon delivery. This Service is used most often when freight items are delivered to a residential address. If you utilize this service there is an additional fee on top of the regular shipping charge and Residential fee.
  • Freight Flat Rate - There are some items in which we offer a flat rate shipping cost. Please note that some of these custom shipping methods are only available in the lower 48 states and are not offered for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, APO/FPO or any international shipping. If you are not within the lower 48 states and or in another country please call our sales staff to request a shipping quote.

RETURNS

American RV Company makes every effort to insure you are satisfied with your purchase. However, in the rare case that you would like to make a return, we will gladly process a return according to the terms and conditions below.

  • If you are not pleased with your purchase, you may return it for a partial refund within 30 days of receipt.
  • All refunds will be refunded via the original payment method.
  • Items returned are subject to a 20% restocking fee unless otherwise noted in product description.
  • Returns after 30 days time will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and will incur up to a 35% restocking fee.
  • Please be aware that shipping and handling charges are not refundable and you are responsible for the return shipping costs.
  • Items that have been used, installed, or damaged cannot be considered for refund. We must be able to sell it as new.
  • On all generators, once used, or after gas and or oil has been put into them, are Non Refundable/Non Returnable!
  • If the Item you are returning was shipped free, and the item is returned for a refund, the refund will also be less the original shipping amount we paid to ship the item.
  • Please be aware we are unable to accept returns on any Special Order items, sorry No Exceptions.
  • If the product is defective please see our warranty section. Before returning any items you must have a Return Authorization Number (RMA).
  • Items returned without an RMA number are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Please clearly mark the RMA number on your return label attached to the outside of the box being returned.
  • PLEASE DO NOT WRITE ON THE BOX!
  • Items must be returned within 30 days of receipt of RMA number.
  • Items refused at delivery will be subject to up to a 35% restocking fee as well as shipping charges both ways.
  • Please inspect your merchandise before accepting your order from the delivery service.
  • If you notice damages please make note of it on the delivery paperwork.
  • Damage claims on Freight shipments that do not have notes regarding damage will not be honored as they cannot be proven.
  • Shipping cost is not covered for international warranty claims.

WARRANTIES

  • Product specifications and information in this website were supplied by the manufacturer.
  • The manufacturer honors all product warranties.

  • Some manufactures do not warranty products once they are taken over seas, contact manufacture to confirm

IMPORTANT KEY POINTS TO REMEMBER

  • Please note that these shipping terms are common and often found as standard. We would like to assure you that we value our customers and are just a call away should you have any questions or concerns.
  • Orders with hazardous items will ship Ground only (i.e. toilet Chemicals, toilets include chemical deodorizers which can be removed for air shipments. Please note that cleaners, deodorants and other chemicals often cannot be shipped via expedited methods due to restrictions on hazardous material. If such an item is ordered via a method which is expedited, we will contact you.
  • For orders containing items on back-order, American RV Company will hold the order until all items are in stock. Once all items are in stock, American RV Company will ship the complete order. Customers may request that in-stock items be shipped as soon as possible, with back ordered items shipped when available. For orders split into separate shipments additional shipping fees will apply, the back-ordered items will ship once they are in stock.
  • Shipping cost is not covered for international warranty claims.
  • We do not ship general delivery, must provide address to post office or other USPS/FedEx verified location.
